Read your motherboard manual. It will tell you which slots to insert ram. It all depends on the motherboard and the type of channel. For example, if your motherboard is dual channel and you use a single stick or put 2 sticks in the wrong slots, you will not get the performance benefit of dual channel. SuperUser reader Totymedli is curious about the color coding of RAM slots: I have always seen that the motherboard RAM slots are colored in pairs, but never knew what it meant. I just put the 2 RAM in, and after a few tries it always worked. But after I tried to install a third one it always throws me a blue screen of death. Memory supports third-party RGB controllers, which is another plus. Further, you can replace default lightbars with custom 3D printed ones. This is an awesome feature that makes this memory the best RGB RAM you can get. Overall, this is the best DDR4 RAM for users looking for a customizable RGB memory.

  • Hi, I have 4 slots on my MOBO, 2x Blue, 2x Black. I have 2x 4gb 1333 of RAM but they are both in the Black slots, because if i put one in a Blue and one in a Black, it shows only 4gigs of RAM instead of 8gb. So if i put 2x4gb 1333 more (beside my 8gb(2x4g)) and fill every slot (blue and blacks).

IGT model identification one machine is always confusing. They look so much alike that if you don’t know what to look for then you probably just guess or go by what someone tells you that it is. Many of the games are available in more than one model of machine so knowing which machine is which is important.

S-PLUS – There are 3 ways this machine can be identified. Usually these machines have six serial numbers on the right side The ‘Winner Paid’ and ‘Credits’ meters are to the left of the center of the reel glass. The also have the motherboard behind the hopper.

S-2000 – Almost any part of these machines can be upgraded, doors, bill and I think you can get different colored speakers. You can identify these by the long meter to the left of the reel glass, the serial number is seven numbers on the side or you may notice that these machines are capable of taking multiple denominations ($.25 or $.50) there reel glass will show these markings.

Reel Touch – These machines have a round top and inset monitor with an lighted frame. These are 5 reel machines and the reels are back lit have five back-lit reels. The reel-touch are similar in appearance to the S- 2000 many of the internal parts are the same.

I-Plus – Typically you will find these as either a video slot or video poker. The Game King is an example of a multi-game machine built on the I-Plus platform. They are identifiable by their round top, large video display. The display is a touch screen and used to select the games

Since 6 months ago i was having a trouble: Sometimes when i was turning it on, it turned on and off repeatedly, the solution was: Remove the CMOS battery. 1 week ago a decide to clean it up, then i put everything back, and when i turned on, i got the problem, but this time removing the CMOS battery didn't work, i bought 12GB ram (1x8gb, 1x4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport @1600ghz), and helped me to understand what going on: Channel B (3 and 4 slots, counting from left to right) wasn't working right.
RAM in slot 1 only = boot
RAM in slot 2 only = boot
RAM in slot 3 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 4 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 1&2 only = boot
RAM in slot 1&3 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 1&4 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 2&3 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 2&4 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 3&4 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 1,2,3, and 4 = Boot (No display, keyboard and mouse were not lighting)
I tried:
Update to latest BIOS version
Clean slots with Contact cleaner (DeoxIT D5)
I don't know how to check voltage, etc.
Thank you so much
